Merge bitcoin/bitcoin#28358: Drop -dbcache limit
bb3b980dfd96d9a89e6b04aef2859ce0555c6807 validation: drop maximum -dbcache (Sjors Provoost)

Pull request description:

Due to recent UTXO set growth, the current maximum value for `-dbcache` of 16GB is ~just months away from being~ insufficient (for those who wish to complete IBD with the UTXO set held in RAM).

This drops the limit. It also adds a warning that it's up to users to check that they have enough RAM.

  Fixes #28249.

  ---

A previous version of this PR increased the maximum to 64GB. It also made startup abort if the value provided is too high, rather than quietly round it down. But this didn't get much support.

is often a subjective matter. Unless they are explicitly mentioned to be

3bf00e13609eefa6ddb11353519bb1aec2342513 gui: debugwindow: update session ID tooltip (Marnix)

Pull request description:

When you have a v2 connection, there is always a session ID.

the _if any_ is a leftover from https://github.com/bitcoin-core/gui/pull/754, where the session ID property initially would always be displayed (transport v1 and v2).
So the session ID could be empty when you have a v1 connection.

As now the _Session ID_ property only is displayed for v2 connection, there will always be a session ID.

gui: fix misleading signmessage error with segwit
As described in #10542 (and numerous other places), message signing in
Bitcoin Core only supports message signing using P2PKH addresses, at
least until a new message-signing standard is agreed upon.

Therefore update the possibly-misleading error message presented to the
user in the GUI to detail more specifically the reason their message
cannot be signed, in the case that a non P2PKH address is entered.

210ef1e980e0887c5675b66bcd5cbccd00aceec6 qt: remove confusing "Dust" label from coincontrol / sendcoins dialog (Sebastian Falbesoner)

Pull request description:

In contrast to to all other labels on the coin selection dialog, the displayed dust information has nothing to do with the selected coins. All that this label shows is whether at least one of the _outputs_ qualify as dust, but the outputs are set in a different dialog. (Even worse, the dust check is currently simply wrong because it only looks at an output's nValue and just assumes a P2PKH script size.)

As the label clearly doesn't help the user and is, quite the contrary, rather increasing confusion/misguidance, it seems sensible to remove it. The label from the sendcoins dialog is also removed with the same rationale. Additionally, the "bytes" and "change" labels are aligned to the left (second commit).

  Closes https://github.com/bitcoin-core/gui/issues/699.

Since this dialog is used by both the bumpFeeAction and the SendCoinsDialog, changes to both to support the different behavior is needed. They will check the return value of the SendConfirmationDialog for whether a PSBT needs to be created instead of checking whether private keys are disabled.

Strings used in this dialog are being slightly modified to work with both private keys enabled and disabled wallets.

Merge bitcoin-core/gui#516: Change 'Show' icon
1831d43e8fb73358858907e1d95ce54e1f42b2e7 Change 'Show' icon (w0xlt)

Pull request description:

This PR changes the 'Show' icon in `receivecoinsdialog.{ui,cpp}`.

The current icon for the 'Show' button is the edit icon, which makes it look like records can be edited on this screen (which is not the case).

The icon already available that seems to be the most suitable for this case is the "eye", so this PR makes this change.

Merge bitcoin-core/gui#449: Restore "S" accelerator for "Start on system login" option
25a581419d10b3c7d99789da18afd51f2984fbc8 GUI/Options: Restore "S" accelerator for "Start on system login" option (Luke Dashjr)

Pull request description:

bitcoin-core/gui#416 changed the option assigned to accelerator key "S", but there's no rationale given.

Best to leave it alone, and give the new option a new accelerator key.

Since "R" is already taken for Reset, this shifts the new RPC server option to use "P" instead

9980f4aa5eaf3c0f62cf699d6a9c4677a1ea3365 qt, refactor: simplify third-party tx url action through overload (Jarol Rodriguez)

Pull request description:

[#4092](https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/4092) introduced the ability to open up a transaction in a block explorer. This improves the related code by simplifying the addition and connection of the action through an [overloaded](https://doc.qt.io/archives/qt-5.9/qmenu.html#addAction-5) `addAction` function and prepends action description text to the host, "Show in". The reason to add this text is to make it clear what the action does. It also creates a clearer mental correlation between a user doing the work to add the 3rd-party tx link and this new menu action popping up.

This updates the setting text so that "third-party" is hyphenated. It should be hyphenated because it is being used as a modifier of both "URL" and "transaction URLs".

Additionally, this fixes #431 by ensuring that the seperator will be added before creating action.

Merge bitcoin-core/gui#416: Add RPC setting
bd5c826a9630f41255497e0c9a0f1872b5ab78d5 gui: add RPC setting (Sjors Provoost)

Pull request description:

RPC access is disabled by default for the GUI.

With the proliferation of third party desktop applications that use the Bitcoin Core RPC (e.g. Specter Desktop, Sparrow and Wasabi), this PR makes them slight easier to configure. It's no longer required to find and edit `bitcoin.conf` to add `server=1` to it.
